I have visited Black Ivy on a few occasions with Grace, with family at the weekend and also with a friend and their baby mid-week. Both times they were very accommodating of the pram(s) and happy to have the babies there. Recommend the window seats where possible, but otherwise the booths are great for kids too.

Buggy Space: 4/5
The glass doors in the entry are just wide enough to squeeze my pram in (Nuna Mixx Next - pretty wide wheels) so I was able to get in without needing help here. Depending on the table you are able to get, most of the seating is on a single level with plenty space around the tables to have a buggy beside the table. Recommend asking for the window seats as they have plenty space and great natural light.

Children's amenities: 3/5
We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and all staff were very friendly and accommodating of us. We felt very welcome with the baby in the restaurant area. We didn't have any children with us on this visit (only a baby) so didn't order any children's food, but there is a childrens menu and high chairs available. There are no toys or play areas in this restaurant.
Changing Facilities: 4/5
The disabled toilet accommodates the baby changing. It is spacious and very clean.

Location & Transport Connections: 4/5
Black Ivy is located on the edge of Bruntsfield Links so plenty space outside to burn off steam with little ones before or after your visit.
There is no parking for Black Ivy, however on street pay and display parking is available outside the hotel.
The hotel is well connected with busses. The nearest stop is just a minutes or twos walk away on Bruntsfield Place being served by 11, 15, 16, 23, 36 and 45.
