Grace and I enjoyed a quiet lunch together at Toast before a walk around the meadows over naptime. Its a nice cafe with a lovely atmosphere, but as there is no baby changing I would probably pick a different venue in the future incase we needed to change!

Buggy Space: 4/5

Toast had space inside for a pram or 2 at most of the tables. On a sunny day the outside tables are a great choice too. The doorway is a little trick to get in with a pram with a step and split door to navigate, but on warmer days you might find the door propped open which makes things a little easier.

Children's amenities: 3/5

The staff were very welcoming but on this visit I only had the baby with me and not other children. There was a high chair available to use for children and the cafe is a short walk down to the meadows which has a great play park for kids.

Changing Facilities: 0/5

Unfortunately there are no changing facilities in the toilets here.

Location & Transport Connections: 4/5

Toast is located on Marchmont road, close to the meadows for anyone stopping by after a walk or on their way to the playpark.

There is no car parking for the cafe but pay and display parking is available on the surrounding streets. The cafe is served with one bus, the stop right outside serving number 24.
