We picked the Raeburn as a venue when arranging to meet friends with children and babies. We booked a table to make sure we had enough space and they were friendly over the phone when we asked about space for prams. I'd definitely come back here again with a bigger group and with children and babies as its a super relaxed and friendly environment, great for family lunches.
Buggy Space: 5/5
Most tables in the Raeburn have space for a buggy beside them. The staff were very accommodating and made sure there was space when we needed it for a buggy beside our table, but they also found other spaces close by for other families with buggies to store them if they did not need them at the table.
Children's amenities: 4/5
We visited on a Sunday lunchtime with a large group including babies and children. The staff brought children's menus that had colouring in patterns with crayons for the children. The staff were all very welcoming of the children in the group. There were no other toys or play areas.
Changing Facilities: 2/5
The disabled toilet accommodates the baby changing. On this visit the disabled toilet was a little unclean with water on the floor. There was a basic changing table available but nothing beyond the minimum required.
Transport Connections: 4/5
There is no parking for the Raeburn but there is parking available on the street outside.
The bus connections are limited but both the 24 and 29 go directly outside the pub.
