We visited the Huxley during the festive period between Christmas and New Year. It was fairly busy but we had a booked table with friends. We had to lift the pram up a few steps to get to our table, but there was plenty space at the table once there. The staff were friendly and welcoming to the baby. Would visit again if meeting others as its a great location to meet.

Buggy Space: 3/5
Getting in the door is pretty tricky with a pram. It took two of us to hold the double doors open and pull the pram up the step inside. It would definitely be tricky to get in and out easily by yourself - you'd need help from a member of staff.
Depending on how busy the restaurant is, there are a number of tables where a buggy can be accommodated beside the table. We had a table situated up a level at the back so had to lift the buggy up there but there was space for it when up there.
Children's amenities: n/a
Staff were very welcoming of our baby but we did not try out any childrens menus or see other families here to comment on how welcoming it is for families here. Will update this section if I visit again and can confirm.
Changing Facilities: n/a
I did not visit the facilities on this occasion
Transport Connections: 4/5
There is no parking for The Huxley, however there is pay and display parking on the surrounding streets.
The restaurant is well connected with busses and Trams, easily accessible in a few minutes walk from Princes Street or Lothian Road.
